Open 365 days a year, Niagara Falls State Park offers a setting like nowhere else for your next event. In addition to a front-row view of the wonder of Niagara Falls, the park offers adventure activities, interactive exhibits, miles of hiking trails and delectable dining options — all packaged up in a family-friendly environment. No passport is needed to experience the unforgettable and breathtaking Niagara Falls.

Today, the park’s signature attraction, the majestic Niagara Falls, is the dramatic apex of the waters of four Great Lakes into the Niagara River Gorge. But this wasn’t always the case. During the Industrial Revolution of the early 19th Century, the natural beauty of Niagara Falls began to suffer as industrialists erected mills and factories along the river to harness its power. By the late 1860s, a small band of early environmentalists, including landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, founded the Free Niagara movement to ensure the natural beauty of the Falls is protected from commercial interests and remains free to the public. This was the advent of Niagara Falls State Park, which today is home to a natural wonder of the world.
